A desert facility at Alice Springs gets a boost from storing the grounded planes. Aerospace group Boeing is temporarily halting production of the planes in January following the jets’ grounding around the world in March after two fatal crashes. Financial Times, 2 Jan 2020
APAS has accepted a B777-200ER (Trent 800) for storage on behalf of Standard Chartered Bank.
APAS took delivery of the first B777 aircraft in September 2015.
